Positive Thinking

  1. I really like the tools listed for Positive Thinking this week. Especially. "Watch your thoughts for they become words". I believe that is so true, as well as thinking negative can make you a victim. It seems that anytime you start thinking negative thoughts, nothing good comes out of it but negative actions. When you are constantly thinking negative, it can take a toll on your body causing several reactions, such as, depression, sick to your stomach, anger, and sometimes paranoia. The tools that Val listed are great, and there are several I will try to use this week.
    #4, #5, #7, #9, and last but most important #11.

  2. I would definitely have to agree with #5, Don't let negative thinking make you a victim. '' I am very guilty of this. I spend so much time thinking about negative possibilities. Consuming my thoughts with "what if" scenarios. I have to gain back power, and I can only do this by Positive Thinking!

  3. One thing that I find to be helpful is replacing negative thoughts with positive ones whenever they show up in thoughts. Remembering to smile is a good one because just the act of smiling alone brings feelings of good energy and positivity. If I did anything this week it was remembering to smile.

  4. Sorry this late. I did make an attempt to get it in on time, and that's no excuse at all. I think my first attempted response was the most authentic and there is no way I can duplicate it, but in short, I truly like the don't let negative thoughts make you a victim. I believe we are often times victims of our own mind anyway. There are times when we truly may be a victim to something, and I'm not saying that's not possible. I just think that as we lean more to the negative thinking we incarcerate ourselves to just that.
