Hello ladies,
I hope all is well with everyone. Please excuse my absence, for I've been dealing with a lot here lately.
Which brings me to this week's discussion...
Love can be so tricky at times and can seem so hard and complicated sometimes....or is it?
With love, how do you know own when to love through the pain?
And how do you know when you should love enough to let go?
How do you deal with a broken heart from someone that you love so deeply?
Those are really some good questions Jessica!!! How do you know you love someone enough to let go and, how to love through the pain? The word Love is just that a "word". The word Love is a verb which means action. So in my opinion, if you truly love someone, the person or people you love will know by your actions. One definition for the word love in the dictionary is "an intense feeling of deep affection" In some cases we may feel that it is love we have for someone, when really it may be intimacy? Dealing with something or someone you love that has broken your heart can and will take its toll on you if you let it! But, when, and if that happens, you need to talk to God, and the support of your family to help you through the storm.
ReplyDeleteLove is a funny thing. When we feel we need it the most, it almost seems absent. When we have it, we take it for granted.
ReplyDeleteHow do you know when to love through the pain?
-When Christ died on the cross for our sins, I could only imagine how painful that could have been. Not only physically, but to know that He was sacrificing His life for those in the future who still would not claim Him. That is true love. When you are tired, weak and aching, but you have the feeling that you have to go on, because there is something much bigger than what you are feeling. Because what you are feeling at that very moment, is only temporary.
How do you know when you should love enough to let go?
Know your worth and love yourself. it is only then when you realize that what you are holding onto might not be what was meant to be in your life. Often times we create gaps in our own lives by feeling them with the things and people who are only meant to be there for a temporary amount of time. Not implying that they are less of a person, however everyone has a purpose in life, and perhaps theirs at the moment was revealing to you your worth, allowing you to see the very things that you don't need in your life.

Love even more! I would never suggest that you stop loving anyone, I would however suggest that you love the people who are their to mend your heart back together. It's so often we think that we have to replace a broken heart by finding another relationship, but when we humble ourselves and quiet the cries and the hurt, you realize that you already have loving relationships in your life that you need to attend to. Now is the time to attend to them! and love like you have never loved before. Because the person that broke your heart doesn't deserve that last bit of your love. Pray for them, continue to love them, but continue to let your love grow stronger.
Jade, that was absolutely perfect! Very well said and beautiful! Thank you for that!
