Identifying the crack in the Foundation

Good evening ladies! I do apologize for this being late. But with only having a  couple more weeks of focusing on the Temple, I wanted to end the last two weeks strong. So, with this being said, please join me for the next tool:

Identify your crack

Though we have all recognized the need for betterment, I think we can all agree that some parts of our temple need a little more attention than the rest. This can also be known as the crack in our Temple's foundation.  So, this week we are going to identify that crack, and dedicate this week on building on it.

Tool: Self Identification

Directions:

1. Identify an area of your body that you feel needs a little more extra attention (examples: stomach, legs, arms, back, and/or even your brain).

2. By Wednesday, share on the blog which part of the Temple you will be focusing on

3. Spend this week building and making the identified part better and stronger!

Understand that this doesn't have to be exercising and dieting. It could also mean reading, word puzzles, more importantly getting 6-9 hours of rest on a nightly basis.

We spent the first week focusing on the things that we need to keep out of our Temple, now this week, we need to focus on the things we need to put into our Temples.

Throughout the week I will be leaving different exercises and tools for you to use if you would like. Again, post any challenges, suggestions and/or testimonies that you have during the week. God bless you all.  I look forward to hearing from you!

  1. Hello Ladies,
I will be focusing on getting enough rest for my body. I know that without the proper rest, it can throw your whole day or week off. When getting the proper rest, your body can feel revived. I would like to be more focused on what I need to do daily. Just thinking about resting my body, gives me strength.

    1. I second that Terri. I'm ready for a nap right now since I stayed up late, and I'm certainly grumpy because of the lack of rest.

  2. As for me ladies, I will be focusing on my stomach. As you all know I have had 5 Abdominal surgeries in the past four years, three of which were in the last year. Needless to say, I have a lot of rebuilding to do, in order to get to where I want to be. So, my stomach I believe is the crack in my foundation, and that is what I'm going to be focused on this week.

    Stomach Crack
One of the most embarrassing things (though I LOL about it daily) is trying to find an undershirt to cover my stomach. During the summer I spent a little change buying thin tees from old navy for my Californa trip thinking I would use them as undershirts during the winter months for an added layer of warmth. yeeeaaah..wrong answer. Since the summer I have gained fifteen pounds and every last pound gained looks doubled since it rests in my midsection. A week ago to the day I have started counting my calories to get and keep the extra weight off which honestly isn't enough in my case. I can deal with the scale number dropping, but I can't deal with not looking healthy so this year I will certainly be focusing on toning my body from head to toe while incorporating a healthy life style so that working out and counting calories won't be a choir but rather a reward. #fatgetoffme If anyone have any health living tips I'm accepting all suggestions

  4. Hello ladies, sorry I am late with my response as usual. But I will be focusing on every part of my body because it all needs work, lol! My stomach, arms, legs, everything!! I've already stopped eating after 7pm and I'm watching my sugar intake as well as cutting down to cutting out soda and other sugary drinks.

  5. Hi ladies,

I will be focusing on my mind and my ears. I constantly have a million thoughts running through my mind at once. It severely impacts my ability to listen to others. I'm sure each of you have had an experience in which you felt I wasn't listening or paying attention to you and for that I am truly sorry. In addition, I am unable to focus on my true self instinct. Because I am entertaining the millions of thoughts thoughts in my head, I do not listen to myself as effectively as I should either. This has been a challenge for me for many years and is a crack needing much repair. I'm willing and able to do the work. Please share any insight, thoughts, etc..I AM LISTENING!
