Welcome to We Focus. We have all agreed to start this group for many reasons. However, the main reason that we have decided to come together is because we have done something that most people find extremely hard to do... We have acknowledged the need for a better self! In doing so, we have owned up to our downfalls, and embraced the need for change and improvement. But we don't have to do it alone. For the next 11 months we have chosen 11 concepts to focus on: Temple, Mind, Relationships, Financial Freedom, Forgiveness, Patience, Discipline, Knowledge of Self, Love, Strength, and Gratitude. We all have a huge responsibility to these concepts. The biggest one being to put action to these concepts. So, Let's get started:
Rules of Engagement:
Start Date: 01 February 2016
- There will be one concept to focus on for each month.
- A person will be assigned a concept.
-The person assigned the concept for that month has the responsibility of sending the rest of the group a weekly tool that focuses around the concept.
-To define "tool" this could be a Scripture, activity, exercise, meditation, words of wisdom, suggestions, sharing past experiences etc. (Be creative, but do your best to choose something that requires some type of action)
-It is the groups responsibility to actually use that tool. In doing so, we have to be honest with ourselves, and ensure that we have self accountability of our actions.
-Tools can be sent out via this blog and/or text messages. You just have to ensure you are checking them at minimum on a weekly basis.
-This blog can also be utilized to converse with one another, express our thoughts on the activity for that week. Share how the activity did or did not impact you. We want to be honest but also constructive with one another.
I really think that I will benefit from this Focus activity. Thanks for starting this Jade!
ReplyDeleteHey We are Sisters. We have to be there for one another, helping each other out, not only on so called "special occasions."

ReplyDeleteThis is great Jade and something that will benefit us all!
ReplyDeleteAs we prepare to work on ourselves, let's hope that self betterment will affect our neighborhoods and communities so that there will be less stories like this. We have got to stop making ourselves look bad. Watch "Michelle Dobyne Viral Fire Interview It's Poppin the building is on fire Casa Linda Apartments Tulsa" on YouTube

DeleteOkay, how about we avoid posting videos and images of what we DONT want to be and only focus that that which we DO want. Posting videos and stuff like this is depressing and brings negative vibes.
